CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – You may have heard already that Valley City Public Schools is beginning the process of adopting a Strategic Plan for the school district.

Superintendent Josh Johnson said, on April 18th, a survey was emailed several people in the community. There will be a few questions and we would like your honest response on what we are doing well and what we can do to improve.

Johnson said, “The survey is part of a process that our district has begun to identify our mission, vision, values and goals for the next five years. With representation from students, teachers, administration, parents, community members and school board, we believe that the time is NOW to seek your input and discuss improving education at Valley City Public Schools.

He added, On behalf of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, we would greatly appreciate your time to complete the survey which has four very important questions related to the education of our children and our school district. Please consider completing prior to Friday, April 21 at 4:00pm.

Johnson said, “We ask for your “voice” in helping us to establish our goals and vision for the school district.  If you would feel more comfortable filling out a paper copy of the survey you may stop by the district office and receive a copy from Jess Herman, the VCPS district administrative assistant.”
