LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Valley City softball team bounced back with a 2 point EDC victory Tuesday in Devils Lake. A 5 hit 5 run 6th inning lifted The Hi-Liners to a 9-2 win. Their record improves to 4-8 and 4-7 in the conference. Thursday night is another 2 point contest, first pitch is set for 6:30 at Fargo Davies.

Mackenzie Pederson had 2 hits including a home run along with 2 RBIs and 2 runs. Jayda Haugen had a double and batted in 2 runs. McKenna Taylor went 2 for 3.  Becca Thompson earned the complete game victory. She held The Firebirds to just 4 hits and 2 runs with 2 strike outs.
