N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Milica, Minnesota man was arrested once more after reportedly stealing a white minivan in Jamestown on Tuesday.
28 year-old Justin Hatten was previously arrested Saturday, May 20th after he was caught following a pursuit and foot chase. In that case, Hatten had stolen a pickup from Hope, ND earlier that evening. Hatten posted a $250 bond Monday on the charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and was released.
On Tuesday, Hatten was arrested after he was stopped traveling eastbound on I-94 about a mile east by Stutsman County Sheriff Deputy Brian Davis.
According to the report, the stop was conducted after it was learned that a white minivan had been stolen from a residential garage. When the Hatten was located, a stop was conducted and Hatten was taken in without incident.
He is currently being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center. He faces a charge of theft of property, a Class C felony punishable by five years in pricon and a $10,000 fine.
