N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Special Olympics North Dakota 2017 State Summer Games took place on June 9 and 10 in Fargo, ND.

Over 300 athletes participated in the Special Olympics. There were several running events, field events and team volleyball. Holly Sabinash came home with three Gold Medals for Valley City in the 50M dash, shot put and team Volleyball. Holly ran the 50M dash with a winning time of 10.31 secs. She threw the Shotput 6.89M and helped the Special Olympic Hi-Liner Volleyball team win Gold.

This was Sabinash’s first time participating at the state level. Over 40 athletes from Valley City participated in the Special Olympics
