CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A woman died following a rollover on I-94 near Tower City today around 11:30am.

The Highway Patrol said a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser was eastbound on Interstate 94 when the vehicle lost control and crossed the median, entered the westbound lanes and overturned into the north ditch.

The female driver was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to a Fargo hospital for medical treatment. The interstate was closed for 30 minutes so the helicopter could airlift the victim.

The crash remains under investigation with the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The victim’s name will be released after the family has been notified.
