CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Construction continues on I-94 westbound from Valley City east to the Hill Interchange. The second phase of the project will be starting the week of June 19th.

At that time, westbound traffic will be shifted from the north roadway to the south roadway, where there will be two lane, two way traffic.

But, starting June 16th, the Cuba Interchange will be closed to westbound traffic and motorists will need to take an alternate route.

During construction:

·       Traffic may be reduced to one lane through construction zone

·       Speeds will be reduced to 65 mph or less in some areas

·       Width restrictions will be in place

·       Flaggers may be present to help direct traffic

·       Cuba Interchange will be closed to traffic

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the construction zone. All phases of the project are expected to be completed late this summer.
