N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Berna’s Barbershop was awarded the June 2017 Business of the Month Award from the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Jamestown.

The Business of the Month award recommendation is submitted by an individual who has experienced quality customer service and maintains an active role in the community. Owned and operated for the last 47 years by Berna Kunze, YPJ members and Chamber members were present to give her the Business of the Month Award.

Her nomination letter states:

“I am a student at UJ and have been going to Berna’s for a few years now, we always have great talks and she is so very nice. Her haircuts are phenomenal, backed by a 47 year haircutting experience. I know other people that go there and they have nothing but good things to say about her barber shop. She also gave me a free haircut as a graduation gift, which was very nice of her.”

Kunze stated she was very humbled to receive the award.

Berna’s Barbershop is now eligible for the Business of the Month award, which is announced during the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet in January 2018.
