N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A few heavy rainshowers over the course of the past week have not only brought much needed moisture for the farmers, but it has also bolstered the ecosystem for the state.
Game & Fish Outreach Biologist Doug Leier reports that heavy rains have really helped North Dakota in several different ways including wildlife growth.
Leier reports that the rains also benefit area grassland for the young fawn and water sources for the fish. He stated that with fresh water, it’ll allow some sources to clear out murky or muddy water and bring in more fish for the anglers.
You can hear Doug Leier join JD in the Morning every Thursday at 7:20 AM on Big Dog Country 95.5 FM.
