N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Police “responded” to a lemonade stand in Jamestown Thursday afternoon.

A Facebook post Thursday showed officers stopping by a lemonade stand in the 700 block of 5th Avenue SE, surprising a large group of children selling lemonade.

“We were told the children were saving up for a pizza party,” the social media post stated. “Needless to say, we bought several glasses and left a fine tip.”

The department encouraged the public to stop by the stand between 3 and 5:30 PM to buy some lemonade.
