CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two individuals are facing numerous charges stemming from a burglary and theft of property from a farm residence West of Valley City.
Jessie Fetzer, 25, and Christoper Schmidt, 32, are both facing charges after investigation by the Valley City Police Department and Barnes County Sheriff’s Office.
“A search of one of the suspects apartment in Valley City was done by VCPD and the Sheriff’s Office,” Chief Deputy Don Fiebiger reported. “[The search] recovered the stolen firearms and a lot of other stolen items. A probation search was done on the other suspect in Oakes, ND with the Oakes Police Department, ND Parole and Probation and Barnes County Sheriff’s Office recovered more of the stolen items.”
Both Fetzer and Schmidt are facing felony charges of Burglary, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Theft Exceeding $1,000, four counts of Theft and a Criminal Mischief Misdemeanor.
