(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School football team had an 11 point lead going into the halftime break against Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, but the Imperials scored 22 unanswered second half points to outduel the Tornadoes 28-17 Friday night.

Oakes was up 17-6 at the end of the second quarter, thanks to a 75 yard kick return for a score by Tyler Voightman, and a pair of field goals from Garrett Meehl.

In the second half, it was all NGS (5-0, 3-0 Class B Region III). Nathan Weigel scored two of his three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback.
