G. Pfarr, 82, Jamestown, ND died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Eventide in Jamestown, ND.

Carl was born February 28, 1935 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Emil and Margaret Pfarr. He attended Jamestown Public School and graduated from Jamestown High School. He served in the ND National Guard.

He and Betty Mueller were married September 7, 1956 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he worked as a postal carrier. He moved to Robinson, ND where he became Post Master until his retirement. Following the death of his wife, he continued to live in Jamestown. He entered Ave Maria Village in 2013, later Rock of Ages and finally Eventide in 2016.

He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Carl is survived by his daughter Pam Pfarr, El Paso, TX; daughter-in-law, Eileen Pfarr, Jamestown, ND; and a very special niece, Rinda Pfarr, Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty in 2008, son Jeff in 2012, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
