VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city is planning to tear down the old elevators on the Old Mill Dam site in Valley City.

Earlier this year, the city said the estimated cost to demolish the structures is about $240-thousand dollars.

Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph said the city will ask the state to pay 80 percent of the demolition cost.

Once the funding is approved by the state the city will accept bids for the project.
