VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Culture Committee for the Valley City Public School District named 1st grade teacher Nancy Ost as the recipient of the September “Awesomeness” award during a brief ceremony during the September 20th school board meeting.

Jefferson Elementary principal Troy Miller said Mrs. Ost uses new techniques to engage students and make learning more meaningful. He said she also handles touchy situations with class and professionalism.
