VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Join the annual Autumnal Equinox celebration at the Medicine Wheel Park tonight at 7:00 p.m. at 205 Winter Show Road S.E. Valley City.
Designer Joe Stickler said 25 years ago, on the autumnal equinox the first stakes were driven into the earth to form the outline of the medicine wheel.
He said come and see the new developments at the Park and join friends to watch the sunset at 7:30 pm. If clear after dark, a Star Party will commence with telescopes set up to enhance the view of the heavens. Come rain or shine.
VCSU Class of 1992 helped Joe Stickler set the first stakes in the ground for this project.
