N.D. (NewsDaktota.com) – The Jamestown High football is going to be in the postseason for the first time since 2013 and they are a win away from hosting a quarterfinal game. The Jays took care of Wahpeton 35-8 behind an air attack and suffocating defense.

Tommy Falk threw for a career-high 217 yards and a touchdown pass to Jeremy Williams. Jamestown got ahead 14-0 in the first half on a Jared Harr run and that Falk to Williams connection. Falk’s pass was tipped and Williams sprawled out-of-bounds, while keeping his feet down, to make a sensational catch.

Wahpeton got on the board in the third after Jamestown went up 20-0 on an Aaron Dieke 51-yard run.

With Grafton’s loss to Devils Lake, the Jays (5-2) locked up their first playoff appearance since 2013. If they can beat the Firebirds on Saturday they will host a game on October 28th in the first round.
