N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Bismarck man was injured after crashing his semi in a construction zone on I-94 near Jamestown Thursday night.
The State Highway Patrol reports that Steve Nelson, 26, of Bismarck was traveling eastbound through a construction zone while pulling a set of double trailers when the truck slid out of control while crossing an icy overpass. The semi struck a guardrail and jackknifed its trailers while entering the median. The truck came to rest after striking a mobile Slipform Concrete Paver.
The driver was transported by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
