N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Recent weather conditions are improving the hunt for archery deer and pheasants.

North Dakota Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier reports that with the wintry mix the region has seen, more and more activity is going to happen and make things a little better for the archery deer hunters.

He says pheasant hunters are also benefiting from this time of the year, but not due to weather conditions.

Leier also pointed out that the official deer opener for North Dakota is set for Friday, November 10th starting at noon. He says hunters can use the time from now to then to get ready and be prepared.
