N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – From November 13-17, International Education Week will be celebrated worldwide.

As a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, the program promotes and prepares Americans for a global environment and attracts future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.

Kate Stevenson is an Associate Professor of Foreign Language at the University of Jamestown. She says they will be participating in the week long celebration with many different things not only for the students, but for the community as well.

Stevenson says during the art show and kickoff, faculty and students will be sharing numerous cultural ideas and customs. For a full list of happenings during the week at the University, visit uj.edu.
