N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – “Our Regenerative Ecosystem” will be the theme and focus for the 2018 North Dakota Grazing Lands Coalition (NDGLC) annual winter conference in Jamestown on January 17th.
NDGLC Executive Director Joshua Dukart says the annual conference always focuses on bringing in nationally or internationally known individuals to share their experiences and what they do. Dukart says they also like to bring in local speakers as well.
Also speaking will be Deborah Clark of Henrietta, Texas and author Didi Pershouse. Dukart says while they focus on producers and agriculturists, they also try to engage consumers with their speakers.
Dukart says while the first conference focused more on improving grazing management, they’ve managed to build the conference to attract those involved in grazing, cropping, gardening and those interested in learning in food production and human health.
The conference will run from 9:30 AM to 5 PM Wednesday, January 17th at the Quality Inn & Suites. Registration is $30 per person and $20 for NDGLC members and is due January 10th. For more, visit ndglc.com or call 701-252-3611.
