The press is something teams see often from the No. 5 Rebels, but head coach Rory Entzi wanted to try something new and it worked out. The defense, with the 6′ Katie Entzi at the top, made the Bison uncomfortable all evening.

Entzi had a monster first half with 17 points and finished with a game-high 23. Kaitlyn Schiele was the catalyst in the second half, with 11 of her 15 after halftime.

The Rebels now get ready for a showdown with No. 3 LaMoure/LM on Thursday. “On Monday, it was ‘BCN, BCN, BCN’, said coach Rory Entzi after the win. “But as of now, I can start thinking about [the Loboes].”

Four Rebels in double-figures paced the scoring, lead by Lane Hanson’s 20 in the rout. The first and fourth quarters were dominated by EKM, with margins of +12 and +11, respectively.

Mason Haugen lead BCN with 11 and Tristan Roaldson added eight.
