VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Matthew Knight is now a police officer in Valley City. He was sworn in as a police officer just before the regular city commission meeting on January 16th.
Police Chief Phil Hatcher said officer Knight is originally from the Finley, ND area. He served in the US Air Force for several years. Upon his honorable discharge, Knight returned to North Dakota and put himself through the Law Enforcement Training Academy. This is his first job in law enforcement.
