N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – NDSU Stutsman County Extension Service will be holding a “Design Your Succession Plan” workshop to help area farmers and ranchers develop a plan for future succession.

These workshops assist farm and ranch families to build a plan and shape the future ownership of their business.

Stutsman County Extension Agent Christina Rittenbach says the Stutsman County sessions will be January 18th and 25th in Jamestown at the Stutsman County Extension Office.

She says this workshop is a great first step to take when considering the farm business succession.

Extension Agent Alicia Harstad says if individuals cannot make those dates in Jamestown, there are other planned in the state that they can attend as well.

Harstad points out that the workshop will be a big discussion for area individuals.
