CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City School District held two public input meetings earlier this week to give a presentation on the design proposal to build a new Athletic Complex at Hanna Field.

Superintendent Josh Johnson gave the school board a timeline for the process at their regular meeting on January 17th.

Johnson said the school board will have to decide whether or not to hire a construction manager.

Johnson said nothing has been approved or finalized with this proposal. He said additional public input will be accepted. Contact the school district office for more details.

School board member Val Moritz said it’s hard to make any decisions right now until we get a solid cost estimate on the first phase of this project.

The Valley City School board hired two firms to help with the design concept of the proposed multi-phase Athletic Complex.
