N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two individuals are in custody following a large drug bust in Stutsman County Sunday morning.
Sheriff Chad Kaiser reports that on Sunday, January 21st, Nhia Lee of Minnesota and Bee Thor of Wisconsin were traveling Eastbound on I-94 when they were stopped for a traffic violation at around 9:05 AM just outside of Jamestown.
“Upon further investigation, the vehicle was found to contain 476 lbs of what appears to be raw marijuana,” Kaiser reports.
Both men were taken into custody and are facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both are currently being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Jamestown Police Department and North Dakota Highway Patrol.
