JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Relay for Life group is continuing to raise funds in their fight against cancer.
As part of their battle, the non-profit raises funds in many different events. Stutsman County Relay for Life member Chelsey Francis says their goal has always been the same; defeat cancer.
The Stutsman County Relay for Life is set for Friday, June 8th at the University of Jamestown.
The Father/Daughter/Grandfather dance continues to be a large fundraiser, but their Color Fun Run has grown to rival it. Francis is also the Fun Run Committee Co-chair and says they had an excellent turnout in their last Fun Run.
Francis says participants can walk or run in the 5k. She says all funds will stay with Relay for Life. The event is set for May 5th at McElroy Park in Jamestown.

Those who pre-register before April 21st will be guaranteed a T-shirt and sunglasses for the run. The cost to register is $30 and $35 the day of.
