ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A LaMoure woman was killed following a crash on Highway 281 just after 5:30 PM Sunday evening.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that 21 year-old Taylor Bliss was traveling southbound in a Jeep Grand Cherokee on the snow and ice covered roadway when she slid out of control and into the path of a northbound Ford F-150. The front of the Ford struck the right side of the Jeep. The Ford came to rest on the northbound shoulder of the roadway and the Jeep came to rest in the ditch.
Ford driver Daniel Blondo of Ellendale was transported to a hospital in Aberdeen for non-life threatening injuries. Bliss died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. They were assisted by the Dickey County Sheriff’s Department and Ellendale Fire Department.
