JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown has announced that they will resume alleyway pickup starting Monday, April 30th.

Previously, the city announced they would refrain from pickup in the alley’s due to poor road conditions. Sanitation crews will return to normal alleyway pickup at the end of the month.

“Place brown carts so arrows face the alley for automated collection or arrows face the street for curbside pick-up,” the city says in a release.

All materials must be inside the cart for automated pickup. Any materials on top of or next to the cart will not be collected. Carts need to be out by 7 AM.

“Trucks will not return to the area due to missed garbage placed out after the scheduled garbage route has been completed,” the city explains.

If you need to exchange your garbage cart for a different size, contact the Utility billing department at City Hall at 701-252-5900 or email kesmith@daktel.com; sgoodrie@daktel.com or bkoushkouski@daktel.com.
