JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The annual City-wide Cleanup Week starts today and continues through May 5th.

City crews will be collecting discarded and unwanted items curbside only at no extra charge to the residents.

“Acceptable materials to be collected need to be at the curb by 7 AM on your appointed collection day,” the city states.

Materials that will be picked up include tree branches, basic household items such as furniture, toys, and mattresses, and small scale building, remodeling, landscaping debris.

A lot of material will not be accepted during the cleanup week including clothing, normal household garbage, appliances, televisions, automotive products, large debris, mowers, bio-medical waste and metal items. A full list of acceptable and non-acceptable items can be found below.

The collection will occur on separate days for each section of Jamestown. The Southeast section will be collected Monday, Southwest on Tuesday, Northwest on Wednesday, and Northeast on Thursday.
