JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Employees of several local businesses recently attend a day-long business training class in Microsoft Excel 2, which was provided by a TrainND in partnership with the chamber and the Jamestown-Stutsman Development Corporation.

The participants included Mark Aslakson, Dakota Central Network; Lana Meissner, SE Education Cooperative; Bethany Gurrieri, Agri-Cover; and Margaret Beckman, Agri-Cover, Lisa Hilbert, Foster County Health; Kristi Janzen and Jill Beyer, Interstate Engineering; Kylee Siegle, Farmers Union Insurance; Tim Eggers, Dakota Central and trainer Ed Cronin.

Cronin, Adjunct Professor, provided an in-depth, hands on opportunity for the attendees to learn the next levels of this software program, and to address some of their questions about how to best utilize the program.

A comprehensive manual, and ability to actually work on the computer the entire day, was a component of the training. The partners will be providing additional business training in various software including more Microsoft Office product training, a first-time manager training class, drug and alcohol awareness training and many more topics. Classes will be announced soon for the spring and summer schedules.
