BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game & Fish Department is encouraging area residents to enjoy the weather in the state and start fishing.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says the main focus this spring is fishing.
Leier also reports that spring turkey season is heating up along with the temperatures.
A downside to the warmer temperatures is the ticks. Leier reminds those who are outdoors to check themselves, their kids, and their animals for ticks.
You can catch Doug Leier every Thursday on Big Dog 95.5 FM with JD in the Morning at 7:20 AM.
