VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several members of the Valley City Beautification Committee were honored for their efforts during the May 1st city commission meeting.

North Dakota Forest Service representative Gerri Makay presented mayor Dave Carlsrud with an award after achieving a Tree City USA city for more than 30 years.
