BUFFALO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The start to season hasn’t been an easy one for The Maple Valley/Enderlin Falcons, through their first 5 games they are yet to earn a win with 2 of their losses coming in 6 and 4 point games.

Last game pitted The Falcons against the top ranked and defending state champion Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros. The first half was impressive but MVE couldn’t sustain the momentum in the final two quarters, they were tied at 8 at the half but ended up losing 43-8.

Coach Nathan Hoots was proud of their ability to follow through on the game plan

At 0-5 this season the playoff are no longer in the picture for The Falcons but coach Hoots says that hasn’t diminished their drive to finish the year strong

In the final 3 games of the schedule, 2 will be at home starting this week. In their homecoming game MVE faces Milnor/North Sargent, who has dropped their last 2 games. Kick off in Buffalo is at 7pm.
