FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Scott Bintz of Jamestown will be the Keynote Speaker during a National Philanthropy Day luncheon and awards ceremony hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Northern Plains Chapter.
“His topic will be The Culture of Philanthropy,” the association states in a release. “Additionally, his book Principles to Fortune will be available for sale at the event.”
The awards ceremony will occur on Thursday, November 15th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Fargo Hilton Garden Inn. Tickets for the awards luncheon, or for fundraising educational training sessions and the luncheon may be purchased at www.afpnorthernplains.org.
The honorees at this year’s National Philanthropy Day luncheon are Roger and Betty Anda of Fargo, who will receive the Philanthropists of the Year award; Allan and Judy Dragseth of Crookston, MN, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement-Legacy of Giving award; Paul Greving who will be honored with the Outstanding Individual Volunteer award; Olivia and Rhett Seaks’ Lemonade Stand of Dickinson, will be honored with the Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy award; Choice Bank will receive the Corporate Leadership in Philanthropy Award; and Laurel Goulding of Devils Lake, who will be celebrated with the Respected Fundraising Professional award.
National Philanthropy Day is an annual celebration of the incredible impact giving, volunteering, and charitable engagement makes upon our communities and our world. Association of Fundraising Professional chapters across the globe celebrate National Philanthropy Day by hosting events to recognize activities of donors, volunteers, foundations, leaders, corporations, and those who are engaged in philanthropy.
