JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After winning the West Region title two weeks ago, Jamestown sophomore Meghan Ford took the state’s top prize on Saturday at Parkhurst in Jamestown. Ford won the race by over 30 seconds ahead of Kayla Ogle of Watford City.
Ford finished with a time of 17:57.
Jamestown as a team finished 17th. Davies won the girls title over Grand Forks Central, who finished 52 points back. Watford City had the second and third places finishers, but still finished in 6th.
On the boys side, Jacob Anteau finished a team-high 16th for the Jays. Williston won the boys title.
