JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center assisted 31 women with mammograms during their “No Excuses” event.
Every year, Central Valley Health, North Dakota Women’s Way Jamestown Regional Medical Center and the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Foundation partner to eliminate barriers for women to receive care and encourage them to schedule preventative screenings.
The JRMC reports that the October event provides screeners while eliminating barriers for women to receive the care. JRMC Radiology Manager Jason Schaffer told NewsDakota earlier in October that several excuses are eliminated.
Gynecologist and Obstetrician Dr. Bailey Runkles provided a full physical exam and screened for cervical cancer as well.
No excuses will return on November 12th for educators and support staff from 8 AM to 3 PM.
