JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is reminding motorists to slow down and drive for the conditions during the current flurry of snow and wind.

Major Justin Blinsky reports that in the past two hours, roughly 6 accidents have been reported in the last 2 hours in Jamestown.

“Vehicles traveling up the inclines of Mill Hill and Hospital Hill without all-wheel drive are struggling to make it,” Major Blinsky stated. “The city of Jamestown is currently attempting to sand, but with the blowing wind and snow, it’s covering it up quickly.”

Major Blinsky reminds motorists to drive for the winter conditions, slow down and be safe if you need to travel inside the city limits.
