Update on Shooting in Valley City; Photo of Suspect Released

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Police are looking for a man who shot another man with a handgun in Valley City about 8pm on Wednesday, November 21.

Police Chief Phil Hatcher said the 19 year-old victim was transported to a Fargo hospital for treatment of one gun shot wound to the upper part of his body.

Valley City police and officers with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation gathered evidence at the crime scene for several hours located in the 500 block of 2nd Avenue Northeast in Valley City.

Anyone with information on the shooting, the suspects vehicle or whereabouts of the suspect should contact the Valley City Police at 701-845-3110.
