JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays competed at the Spartan Pentathlon at Fargo North High School on December 15th. The team took third place overall with 105 points, beating Grand Forks, West Fargo Sheyenne, Fargo Davies and Wahpeton. The West Fargo Packers won the event with 210 points. Approximately 150 athletes competed at the meet.
Swimmers competed in the 200 IM, 100 Fly, 100 Back, 100 Breast and 200 Medley Relay. Diver point totals were also included in overall placing.
Blue Jays placing in the top 12: Noah Haglund took 9th place overall, scoring 18 points for the team. Diver Gage Poland took 12th place with 16 points.
