VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Ag Teacher at the Sheyenne Valley Area Career and Technology Center has resigned after allegations were brought forth regarding a violation of Career Tech Center and Valley City Public School District policy.

Career Technology Center Director Jeff Bopp said the teacher was immediately placed on administrative leave, there was an investigation and during that investigation the teacher opted to resign. He said the Career Technology Center Board accepted the resignation of the Ag Teacher. The allegation was an alcohol violation off school property.

Since then, the board advertised the open position and offered the job to another individual. The new teacher accepted an offer and pending board approval the new instructor will start January 2nd.
