OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Tornadoes boys basketball team has now dropped two in a row after getting dismantled 77-44 at home on Monday night.

An 8-0 run began the night for Oakes, but that was all the fun the Tornadoes had. After the strong start for the Tornadoes, Napoleon-G/S would go on a monster run and end up taking a 44-26 lead into the halftime break and only went downhill from there. The Tornadoes were bothered by the Imperial’s full court pressure and turned the ball over at an alarming rate in route to their 33 point loss.

Oakes’ leading scorer was Steele Hansen with 13 points, and Napoleon’s leading scorer was Jamison Feting with 25 points.

The next time out for the Tornadoes will be the 15th at home against South Border.
