JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center is continuing to provide an arts curriculum to homeschool children in the area.
Education Coordinator Myra Olson introduced the new program last year and says there has been great participation.
Olson says any age homeschool student is accepted to participate in the every other Friday course. A variety of courses have been scheduled for each session which includes ceramics, printmaking, textile, watercolor illustration, jewelry making and more.
Kids 5 through 18 can pick and choose sessions that they want to participate in.
In other Arts Center news, Olson says they encourage everyone to freeze and color ice blocks to donate to the Arts Park. She also says individuals can come and view the current exhibit, get their tickets for the Gala in February and sign up for one of their many different classes.
