JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown will send out crews to begin the full snow plowing program beginning 5 AM Tuesday.
Crews will start with Emergency routes and once completed, they will begin plowing residential areas at 11 AM. Crews will work through the night on the downtown district starting at 11 PM.
“City Ordinance Section 25-10 requires that property owners keep the sidewalk adjoining the property clear of snow and ice,” the city states. “Do not deposit snow or ice on the city street or after the city plow has cleared the street. These violations are class B misdemeanors under the general penalty and will result in a fine.”
The schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions.
