GWINNER, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was all Milnor/North Sargent on Thursday night as they routed Maple Valley 71-38.
The Bulldogs held Maple Valley to just one made basket in the first quarter and disrupted the Maple Valley offense for a majority of the night.
Milnor/North Sargent’s offense didn’t score a basket for three minutes on two different occasions, but the Bulldogs produced more than enough to come away with the opening round victory.
Dylan Frederick was the leading scorer for MNS as she tallied 21 points (17 of those in the 2nd half). Maple Valley was lead by Courtney Hovelson with 18 points and the only Raider in double digits.
