JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Nearly 1,000 people were out on the Jamestown Reservoir (JRFD) for the 11th Annual Jamestown Rural Fire Department Ice Fishing Derby on February 16th.
Anglers from all over participated in the annual fundraiser for the JRFD. In its history, the tournament has raised thousands of dollars for equipment and more. Secretary/Treasurer and Fire Fighter Travis Lemieux says funds from this year will equip firefighters with new gear.

69 fish were caught and weighed. This includes 49 Crappie, 18 Perch, 1 Northern, and 1 Walleye. A raffle and concert were held following the tournament. You can find all raffle winners here.
