JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Triumph, Inc. had a very busy 2018 volunteering for numerous organizations in Jamestown.
Co-Founder Ana Ede reports that their many individuals volunteer their time through the Day Habilitation program.
“Our goal for this program is to encourage clients to learn home living skills, work skills, and social skills,” the organization states. “Learning these skills promotes independence in their home, social network, and community.”
Their staff of 50 assists 30 individuals daily with their services and programs. According to Ede, Triumph, Inc. helped those with special needs volunteer 1,446 total hours in 2018, 439 more hours than in 2017.
“We hope to achieve even more volunteer hours this year,” Ede stated.
Richard Kraft is one of the individuals with Triumph, Inc.

Kraft says he enjoys doing soccer with North Dakota Special Olympics.
Marques Cross II also volunteers at many places including Meals on Wheels and the James River Humane Society. He says he really enjoys helping the dogs.
Kelly Monson says he volunteers at Stepping Stones and Dr. Dawn’s Pet Stop. He also vacuums at TRAC. Ryan One Feather also volunteers at Dr. Dawn’s and helps clean rooms. He also helps dust at the National Buffalo Museum.
Joey Walden says he volunteers a lot too.

Walden says he enjoys Triumph, Inc. because they feel like a second family to him.
