JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission has passed a resolution to join the City of Jamestown to form a Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census.
During the Stutsman County Commission meeting, Chairman Mark Klose reported that he had been approached by Mayor Dwaine Heinrich about forming a joint committee for the 2020 Census.
Klose said no matter the decision, they would still need to come up with a plan for the census. Klose says the main thing for the committee would be to market the census and encourage residents to participate.
The resolution was passed. The city of Jamestown also passed their resolution for the joint committee Tuesday.
