VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSUVikings.com)- The Valley City State University football program has continued to add to its 2019 recruiting class with the addition of 15 student-athletes over the past few weeks.

All 15 of the student-athletes are currently high school seniors and have signed letters of intent to continue their education and football careers at VCSU this fall. They join 41 recruits who committed to the Viking football program earlier this year.

“We’re excited to announce more student-athletes who are joining our program this fall,” said head coach Dennis McCulloch. “Following national signing day, our coaching staff has continued to work hard at finding players that fit our culture and our campus, and are eager to play college football.”

The newly announced group spans seven different states, including four players from Texas and three teammates from Willow Canyon High School in Surprise, Arizona.

Valley City State University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and plays in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference. VCSU is coming off a 6-4 season in 2018 and a second-place finish in the North Star Athletic Association with a 5-2 conference record.
